Welcome to the posters-affiches site, which is the result of collecting for over 40 years. It all started around 1960 with acquiring the first French exhibition-gallery poster while visiting Paris for the first time. It was a Picasso affiche; I got it for free and will never sell it! Over the years, our belief is strengthened that posters provide enormous insight in our recent cultural history while at the same time providing great decorative pleasure to one's home. Later we started collecting posters and affiches not relating to art, just because we liked them so much. Posters relating to vintage car racing is becoming a specialty for us. We are proud to count many connoisseurs as well as interior decorators among our regular clients. Although based in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), 70% of our clientele comes from abroad. We started this site in January 2003 with a small selection of our stock. We will enlarge and update it every week so please do visit us regularly.
